Feats:
Spellsong: You can combine your bardic performance and your spellcasting in two ways. First, you can conceal the activity of casting a bard spell by masking it in a performance. As a swift action, you may combine your casting time of a spell with a Perform check. Second, as a move action, you can use 1 round of bardic performance to maintain a bard spell with a duration of concentration. You can cast another spell in the same round you are using bardic magic to maintain concentration; if you do this, your concentration on the maintained spell ends when you end the bardic performance the spell is part of.
Harmonic Spell: Whenever you cast a 1st or higher level spell while you are maintaining a bardic performance, you can maintain the bardic performance for that round without expending one of your rounds of performance for the day. In addition, you can switch from one bardic performance to another as a swift action when you cast a spell while maintaining a bardic performance.

Biography
Being born a servant to House Cannith, Tarisz felt a unique draw to learning a crafting trade. He always fancied himself a bit of a leader, someone who could direct big crafting projects and the such. However, he unfortunately found himself completely inept at making things. Most of what he made broke, or was so strange and pointlessly complicated to be rather... Atrocious. As he grew older, he fancied trying to fix things but never to any really positive effect. The war he realized he might eventually be fighting in became a new reality, and he had to unfortunately mature quite quickly to handle such a grim future.
As he outgrew fantasies of being a crafter, he realized his affinity for leadership could be served in the war. Cannith's ties to Cyre saw him more or less led to the war, and was forcibly conscripted. He was excited to eventually become a leader of men, who would use his knowledge and leadership abilities to great victories. As the basic training most troops went through proved ineffective to get him the physical strength he needed to swing a sword effectively, he at least hardened up to take a few beatings more than his other standard recruits. He hid his affiliation with House Cannith out of a bit of shame, since he couldn't craft anything with any effectiveness and saw many others from his House were able to do quite a bit. Not many were sorcerers or artificers, but they were surely more adept at cleaning their weapons than he was.
But when he spoke, he spoke with a ferocity that got him quite a few more beatings than his "unaffiliated" disguise.
His ability to somehow be louder than the clash of steel and the screams of war saw him placed in the same position most bards were given, but while others trained as he could sing, his voice was much less pleasant. As a matter of fact, using 'pleasant' would bring images of birds that were acceptable listens, but were still annoying. Tarisz was completely unable to do this, because his voice sounded like a crow that was dying while choking on a smaller crow, both screaming loudly. So he learned to shout people into working, which played on his leadership fantasies.
As the training ended and he found himself moving to war, he found himself shouting out his fellows to such a strangely effective stance that, despite his harsh words and much harsher voice, they were begrudgingly accepting of his 'leadership.'
