Biography
Basch was a well born child, taught how to become strong by his father, Gaston. Gaston was a black smith. For the longest time he taught Basch how to become a strong man, knowing that some time he might have to go into the war. Basch's mother died, at an early age by giving birth to him. Basch being taught by his father how to wield a sword, to make sure he could defend himself. Gaston tried to make him handle two sword just like how he could, but the young lad decided to pick up a shield like his grandfather did. Growing up was hard on Basch, with out his caring mother. His grandfather was there to support him.
During Basch's growth his grandfather passed on. Before his age into adulthood he made a friend, called Ventralious. Basch later on in their friendship decided that the other's name was to complicated deciding to give him the alias Nilous. A few days within their friendship on a normal day of helping his Basch's father, Basch's chest started to hurt and he began to cringe in pain, but not inside. He tore his shirt reveling a singed dragon mark on his left pectoral. This mark was the House Tharashk's symbol, quickly warning his father not knowing what was going on. His father amazed by the sight, though his self knowledgeable of what the mark was he knew that his son would be of great use to him in his blacksmithing, to create weapons for the war. He did not tell Basch what the mark was he knew he would find out some day.
Gaston asking the two to start to go around their family cave and start to mine because he was low on supplies. The two mined for the supplies, for a few years (excluding the two to go into the war because they were helping forge supplies once they hit adulthood), finding an abundance of amazing iron, gold, and silver ore. Basch's father was over joyed with this making his market the best in the capital. The family mine was stripped cold of ores for weeks, once the two have became in their early 20's. Gaston decided for the two to go and head to Crag War.
The two head out for Crag War, taking the two a week to get there. The two head into a bar ordering drinks to celebrate that they have made it there safely. Not being able to notice the two drank enough to make a bull fall over. Not in their favor their last drink was drugged, that sedated them for a few days. On the day they woke up they found that they were in a prison ward. Asking for what they were in there for, barely getting an answer from the guards, mainly just to, shut up and be quiet. This making Basch worried of what came of him to be in here.
Basch and Nilous were eating their meals when a all out riot busted out. Nilous getting into the action, by some one randomly hitting him. Basch tried to help defend him, but got beat down by a guard trying to break up the brawl. Basch's shirt was ripped in the process exposing the mark on his chest. The warden with his strong voice walks in "EVERYONE LAY DOWN YOUR FISTY CUFFS!!!" Every one scrambled out of the brawl into a line, as if they were soldiers. Basch still on the ground beaten a bit sits up, the warden having full line of sight of the mark on his chest. The warden making Basch and Nilous come with him to his interrogation room.
After long hours of explaining why they were there, and the warden asking who they were, and why did the two kill a man. Basch explaining their situation that they had nothing to do with it, the warden finds that there is no evidence to prove that they were the ones who killed a citizen of Cyre. There was evidence showing they they were not the killers. The warden smiled and arched back in his chair resting his feet on the table. "The two of you have a few choices. One to become a part of the Cyre army and fight in the war effort for money to fund your trip back home. Two throw your self into our arena for a high risk high reward money, or you could stay here and most likely get shived." Basch accepting the first first choice to enlist in for training under the Cyre army, because he would rather not die in a pit or in jail.
