Biography:
Born and raised in the capital of Cyre Cassius Clay saw how truly corrupt civilization was and in civilization the rich and powerful rule. Cass deciding that if he wanted to get what he wanted in life then he would have to gain power and influence, but how could he do that? How could a child born and raised on the streets achieve such things in his life? Cassius was raised on the streets for his parents left him on the door step of an orphanage that Cass ran away from once he reached the age of thirteen. One day Cassius was caught stealing food from a food cart in the market place when the cart owner caught Cass. The cart owner started beating him over and over again until the point when Cass pushed his hands forward to try to push the merchant away so he could make a run for it, but then suddenly a burst of energy shot out from Cass's hands throwing the merchant into his cart thus knocking the merchant out and destroying his food cart at the same time. Not fully realizing what happened Cass ran away from the scene before the guards could get there. After finding a hidden and safe place and after the shock and adrenaline faded Cass realized that the blast of energy came from him. Realizing that he is capable using magic the thought of achieving his goals seemed a whole lot closer then he realized.
At the age of 16 Cass decided to clean up his act of thievery and get a respectable job. Cass realized that people wouldn't follow or respect a thug from the streets. So Cass cleaned himself up and went out and got himself a job at the local magic shop, although it was just cleaning and keeping the place neat and clean it still gave Cass the chance he needed to learn more about magic from the store clerk and by studying some of the magical items in the store, but he mainly focused on reading up on spells in the books at the magic shop.
After becoming 20 Cass figured that he had learned all that he could learn from the store and it's owner, so he left without a word without saying goodbye or thanks to the old magic shop merchant for he was just a means to an end. Cass saw that his next step towards his goals lies with the military believing that if he could rise in the ranks of Cyre's Military and help the country get on the path of victory and become a respectable country he might achieve his goals then when the whole country and the world see's what he is capable of. After getting through a poor excuse of a boot camp Cass was sent out into the front lines to fight against the enemy troops. After several near death experiences at the hands of the enemy and seeing most of his comrades being slain in front of him for the armies of Cyre are mostly made up of farmers and slaves and prisoners that was given the choice between the pit or military. Cass kept fighting waiting patently for his chance at glory to show the higher ups that he is more valuable then most of the fools in this military. After five years fighting against seemingly impossible odds and seemingly being the only soldier among the fodder to live as long as he has. The odds of survival on the battlefield are very slime the life expectancy of an average soldier is about a day if your lucky. The only reason Cassius survived as long as he has is that he has the intelligence to know where to stand and also the fact that he knows how to cast spells. He always casted spells that would keep the enemy at bay for a tiny bit long enough for reinforcements to get there and he also casted the kind of spells that would keep him alive for one more day. Cass realized that he isn't getting any real battle experience by just being fodder for the enemies arrows and blades.
One day as the catapult's were firing upon the enemy on the bridge and the foot soldier (aka fodder) were fighting the soldiers who made it to the barriers. Cass saw that there were a group of enemies coming from a point that the catapults weren't firing upon and Cass realized that if the enemy soldiers make it to there target objective it could possibly catastrophic for Cyre. Now of course Cass had no love for Cyre and realized even if he gained power and influence in Cyre it won't mean shit for Cyre is the shit whole of the world, but he also realized that if he can find away to change the tides of this war towards Cyre's favor and if he can make Cyre one of the most powerful nations in this world then his power and influence that he would gain from such a task would be even greater then that of a King, but before any of that could happen Cass has to first rise in the ranks of this army to be in a position to be able to achieve his grand goals of wealth and power. So Cass ran up to the captain who was in charge of the catapults and told him about the enemy troops that was coming from a blind spot in Cyre's defense the catapult captain just told him to get back to his position and hold the line. Cass decided it was no use in trying to convince the catapult captain of anything. So Cass ran over to the catapult that was closes to the enemy troops that was closing in. When Cass got to the catapult he went to man who was the leader of that catapult team and lied saying "The captain wants you to fire in that direction over in that direction there is and enemy troop whose about to suprise attack us from our blind spot.'' The soldier looked at Cass for a second and ask why didn't the captain just yell at to them from where his standing. Cass lied again and said that the captain said he needed to focus on the battle and so he sent Cass over to tell the catapult team his orders. The soldier didn't question Cass anymore and nodded and told the others soldiers manning the catapult to turn the catapult towards the direction that Cass pointed out and fire. The Soldier did what they were told thus killing the enemy troops that were approaching from the blind spot.
After the sun had gone down and the line was drawn again for another night the captain of the catapults came over and yelled at the men who fired in a different direction asking them why did they not keeping firing in the direction that he instructed them to fire upon. The soldiers looked confused and point to Cass saying that Cass came up claiming the captain was the one who ordered them to fire in that direction. The captain looked towards Cass glaring at him as he walked up to him. The captain said that Cass disobeyed a direct order and left his position among his own ranks. After he said that the Catapult captain lead Cass over to the tent of the head officer. When Cass and the catapult captain entered the tent the head officer was standing over a table with a map of the whole battlefield on the table with little figurines representing both armies on the map and were standing on the opposite side of each other on the map. The Head officer looked up and asked why were the two in his tent and the both Cass and the Catapult captain both saluted and then the catapult captain explain why they were in the tent. The head officer looked at Cass and asked is this true soldier and Cass said it was true, but then Cass explained what happened and why he did what he did he even went over to the map and pointed where the soldiers were coming from and Cass used the figurines to help with the presentation. The head officer looked at Cass and the catapult Captain for about a minute or two then the head officer nodded and then he told the catapult captain to leave them both. The head officer paused for a moment and then said what Cass did was smart and was quick thinking and said that he will now be assigned to the catapult team and the he paused for a moment and said that he should of been at the catapult anyway since he is a magic user, but his poor position was probably do to bad tactical planning. Cass nodded then looked the map and pointed out that the battles would be much more efficient if they had one catapult aimed for the enemy soldiers who would be coming closer to the front lines making it a the survival rate of Cyre soldiers on the battle field increase by at least 1 or 5% and had at least one catapult aiming at the blind spot of the battlefield making it harder for any enemy troops to flank the Cyre troops. The head officer looked at Cass with a surprised look on his face then the head office cleared his throat and said how about we make you the leader of one of the catapult teams we could definitely need tactical skills such as yours leading a catapult team.
As Cass hoped he was recognized for his skills. He still isn't exactly where he would like to be in the ranks in the military, but patience is the key to victory. Cassius Clay hungers for power seems to rival that of a Demon Lord and his patients seems to rival that of Charon the horsemen of Death. Also after fighting for so long on the battlefield Cassius seen how easy life slips away. Cassius realizes there is a very high chance that he will die before he could achieve any of his goals so another one of Cassius's goals is to find away to achieve immortality. Cassius will do anything to survive. Survival is his top priority until he achieves immortality he will not stop researching and searching for a way to achieve immortality. Cassius ambitions grows everyday he will never stop on his quest to gain power he won't be happy to he reaches Godhood and even then he probably won't be satisfied. Cassius ambitions might lead him to greatness or utter and complete ruin.

The type of person Cassius is
Manipulative and conniving
The type to work from the shadows.
P.S. I know this is the kind of stuff you need Charisma for, but I hope by the time we get to the spying and stealth and infiltration stuff I would have brought my charisma up some or at least at enough points in diplomacy and bluff that it would make up for my charisma score.
